Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Passion Twist.

Passion twists typically last 4 to 8 weeks depending on hair growth, care routine, and installation technique. Gentle maintenance, satin protection at night, and regular moisturizing will extend wear. Schedule touch-ups or reinstallations to refresh the look when needed.

When installed with appropriate tension and care, Passion Twists are protective and minimize breakage. Communicate any sensitivity or tightness with your stylist, keep the scalp moisturized, and avoid overly heavy styles to protect edges and hair health.

Cleanse with a diluted shampoo or co-wash, lightly spritz twists with a water-based moisturizer, and sleep on a satin bonnet. Refresh roots or tame frizz with a small amount of oil or mousse to keep twists looking neat.

You can swim and exercise with Passion Twists, but protect them by wearing a swim cap or tying twists up before swimming. Rinse chlorine or saltwater promptly and rehydrate twists afterwards to prevent dryness and buildup.

Installation time varies by twist size, length, and hair density but generally ranges from 3 to 6 hours. During consultation we’ll recommend sizes and timelines so you can book an appointment that fits your schedule.

Pre-colored or pre-tinted extensions can be used to achieve highlights, but avoid dyeing installed twists. Discuss color options with your stylist beforehand so we can safely custom-select or pre-color hair for your desired shade.
